Company History and Management Background
Roger Trudeau started RT Manufacturing in March of 2000 with shop space of
1,500 Sq. Ft. with one office; recently RT has expanded its shop space to 4,000
Sq. Ft. of shop space and 9 offices. RT has also recently purchased a new CNC
Milling Center as an addition to our manufacturing capabilities.
Roger has an extensive background in the design and development of Packers
including Environmental and Production Packers. He was the key Design Engineer
and Vice President of Manufacturing for 14 years at Groundwater Protection and
Eclipse Packer Company. He worked for OSCA in Sustaining Engineering and also
spent 4 years developing thru tubing tools as a design engineer for HPI -Thru
Tubing Systems. His manufacturing background dates back to the early 70's when
he graduated from a vocational technical school in Massachusetts this is also
where he attended college majoring in industrial engineering.
RT Manufacturing designed and completed 10K function testing of our 7” x 4.00”
26-32# Magnum FP Packer Assembly. We are currently designing and function
testing a 9-5/8 x 6.00” 43.5-53.5# Magnum FP Packer Assembly.
We also have projects under way for the 5”, 5-1/2” & 7-5/8” Packing Systems.
The 7-5/8” will be a conversion of the existing 7” x 4.00”. During the
development and testing of the 7.00” x 4.00” Packer Assembly we developed a
system allowing the packer assembly to self energize the packing element at
elevated pressures, RT Manufacturing has applied and will be issued a patent on
this new and innovative system. We have also optimized the lock ring and
retrieving system to provide smooth and dependable retrieving of the packer
assembly.
Our staff at RT Manufacturing would be delighted to assist you with any tool
system designs or manufacturing needs you have. Please feel free to contact
Roger Trudeau to discuss any needs you may have.
